They earned a reputation for integrity, value, and best practice by providing this assurance through the evaluation and certification of professions against rigorous, internationally recognised competence requirements.

Certification from PECB is a vital component of the information security field as it is provides evidence that certified professionals hold standardized competencies based on best practices. Certification can also serve as documented evidence of a professional’s qualifications, competencies and experience.

PECB is accredited by ANSI under ISO/IEC 17024, Conformity assessment-General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons. Currently PECB has thirty one (31) accredited certification schemes and is the first and the only certification body to be accredited for all main ISO Management Systems related certifications.
